Skills Required

Must have experience in IOS, Networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing, 802.1x and tools.

Must have experience with Identity Stores like Windows AD, LDAP, RSA/OTP

Understanding or hands-on experience with AAA protocols like RADIUS & TACACS+

Must have experience in testing software in a distributed environment â€“ Performance, scalability and solution testing.

Hands on experience with Automation framework (for eg RFT, TestNG, Selenium etc) and scripting within Windows / Unix environment.

Experience in analyzing customer/solution requirements, system test planning, test cases design, and execution.

Experience with DBs like Oracle, MySql, DB2, Sybase and programming languages like JAVA, C, C++ is highly desirable.

Candidate must possess excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent teamwork and people skills.

Appetite for creativity in test methodologies and productivity improvement.

Job Description

Development of test plan and test cases for new products/features.

Design of test topologies and building of test beds.

Executing tests, tracking and logging of issues and driving till resolution with verification of bug fixes.

Partner with other dev test members in test automation.

Working closely with development engineer to reproduce, analyze and debug internal test failures as well as customer found defects.

Interacting with marketing and development engineer to understand market/customer/product requirements to ensure that the delivered product meets specifications; review of PRD, SFS, Test plans, and other documentation.

Initiate and participate in organizational efforts to improve overall group productivity and test effectiveness. Contribute to overall test strategies development, resource allocation planning, task/project scheduling, and test process definition/improvement.

Participate in cross-functional, cross-BU test effort.
