• Identify the advancements in the field of Packaging Development.
• Keep abreast with the new technologies in this field.
• Develop packs which do not infringe any patents, are cost effective and novel.
• Provide support to the various PDTs.
• Develop packs of products according to the demand of customers.
• Select and evaluate the packaging materials for new product or packs.
• Identify suitable change parts and machines at manufacturing locations.
• Interact with R&D, AR&D, RA, Marketing and corporate medical services for development of artworks and trade dress.
• Ensure compliance to statutory requirements for respective markets.
• Ensure smooth implementation at the shop floor.
• Carry out machine trials.
• Prepare change proposals and send them to FDA.
• Evaluate innovator and competitor’s packaging.
• Check for stability at lab scale batches and PE batches.
• Carry out appropriate experimentation and documentation.
• Take part in technical discussions with the entire team.
