| Job Description |
KEY OBJECTIVE -
The key objective of this role is to be able to build demo proof of concepts for Field Solution Consultants (Pre-Sales). The CoE Solution Consultant (SCs) engages in demo pre-sales cycle of the sales engagement
• Proactively support field APAC SCs in building demo environment
• Proactively supports field APAC SCs to build customer proof of concept demos
For the CoE Solution Consultant to be effective in achieving the above, the Solution Consulting is expected to be a participant in physical and virtual communities including, JDA APAC Pre-Sales, JDA Services and JDA Development. Through this community networking process, the CoE Solution Consultant acquires product knowledge (technical and functional), gathers collateral for sales engagements and develops local customer relationships to help the reference process.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES -
1. Build and configure demo environment
2. Technical Pre-Sales Demo presentations
3. Ensure all demo assets are packaged for future re-use
4. Assist in RFP / RFI response for customer’s Technical Requirements
5. Demonstrate how proposed solution adds substantial value by replacing the prospect’s current business systems environment
Technical Skills required -
Strong Oracle Skills
Specifically SQL and PL/SQL Scripting in addition to DDL (DBA) Capabilities
Batch Scripting Skills - Shell/Perl/Windows Batch Scripting or equivalent
UNIX Knowledge essential, ideally Sun Solaris
